Consumer Health Data Privacy Policy
Effective date: {{EFFECTIVE_DATE}}
This policy is published by Cretova LLC, 1309 Coffeen Avenue STE 1200, Sheridan, WY 82801, USA ("we", "us"). It applies to the Arden iPhone app and is provided under the Washington My Health My Data Act and similar laws in Nevada and Connecticut. It supplements our Privacy Policy.
1. Consumer health data Arden handles
Depending on what you choose to enter, Arden may store on your device:
- Protocols, compounds, doses, schedules and dose logs, including injection sites.
- Side effects you select.
- Lab results, with the units and ranges you type in.
- Weight and waist measurements, and progress photos.
- If you opt in, weight and waist from Apple Health (body mass and waist circumference only).
2. Why and how it is handled
This data is used only to provide the features you ask for: showing your protocol, logging, reminders, charts, exports and the Home Screen widget. It is entered by you, or read from Apple Health with your permission. It is processed and stored on your device. We do not collect it onto our own servers.
3. Sharing and selling
- We do not sell consumer health data.
- We do not share consumer health data with any third party, including for advertising.
- Our service provider RevenueCat receives only an anonymous app user ID and purchase receipt information, which is not consumer health data. See the Privacy Policy.
- If you export a PDF or CSV, you decide whether to send it anywhere. That is your choice, not our sharing.
- We do not use geofencing around health facilities.
4. Consent
Arden asks for your consent before storing your health data to run the app, and separately before syncing with Apple Health. You can withdraw consent at any time by turning off Apple Health sync in Settings or iOS Settings, by deleting entries, by using Delete all my data, or by deleting the app.
5. Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to confirm whether we collect your consumer health data, to access it, to withdraw consent, and to have it deleted. Because your data is stored on your device, you can do all of this directly in the app:
- Access: view your entries, or export to PDF or CSV.
- Delete: remove individual items, or use Settings > Delete all my data. Apple Health samples can be deleted in the Health app.
- Withdraw consent: turn off Apple Health sync, notifications, or Face ID lock at any time.
You may also email support@ardenhealth.app and we will respond as required by law, generally within 45 days.
6. Appeals
If we decline your request, you may appeal by emailing support@ardenhealth.app with the subject line "Appeal". We will reply in writing with our decision and the reasons within the time required by law. If you are still not satisfied, you may contact your state attorney general: in Washington, the Washington Attorney General's Office; in Nevada, the Nevada Attorney General; in Connecticut, the Connecticut Attorney General.
7. Security
Your data stays on your device, protected by the iOS sandbox and your device's own security, and optionally by Face ID lock. See the Privacy Policy for details and limits.
8. Changes
We will post changes here with a new effective date. If we ever collect or share consumer health data in a new way, we will update this policy and obtain any consent the law requires first.
